Position Summary City of Hope Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Clinical Nurse to join our 2C Clinic team. The 2C Clinic specializes in the care of patients with Sarcoma (Medical Oncology and Surgery), Neuro-Medical Oncology and Neurosurgery, Melanoma, Orthopedic Surgery, Dermatology, and various Medical Specialties, including Gastroenterology. The clinic primarily performs dermatology procedures and Mohs surgical procedures. This opportunity is for full-time, 8-hour shifts (5 shifts per week), and is designated for the day shift (8/8:30am start time). Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Available! As a successful candidate, you will:

• Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical conditions. Perform dermatology procedures, including Mohs surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-procedure care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Clinical Skills: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed. Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care. Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage complex patient needs in outpatient settings. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Communication and Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring clear and compassionate communication. Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and referrals. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Nursing is required. Current California RN license. Minimum of three (3) years related experience. American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Card. City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
