VC Investment Associate - Global Investment Firm

Job Description
A leading global investment firm is looking to hire an Investment Associate into it's Venture Capital investment platform based in Chicago.
\n \nThe team takes a stage-agnostic approach across Venture Capital and Growth Equity, investing primarily across FinTech, Capital Markets, Financial Software, Digital Assets and broader TMT.
\n \nOperating within a small, flat investment team, the successful candidate will have significant exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including:

- Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities \n
- Fundamental company and industry analysis \n
- Financial modelling and valuation \n
- Preparing investment memos and recommendations \n
- Deal execution and structuring \n
- Portfolio monitoring and value creation \n
Candidate Profile
\n- \n
- 2–4 years' experience in a buy-side investment role or investment banking \n
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills \n
- Experience across FinTech, Financials or TMT \n
- Strong commercial judgement and understanding of business models \n
- Genuine passion for investing and technology \n
