Diesel Mechanic

Job Title Diesel Mechanic, Earn Up to $36.50/hr. Employment Full‑Time, Monday – Friday, 2nd shift 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. Job Description R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Piedmont, SC Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will perform day‑to‑day equipment maintenance on our fleet consisting of preventive maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Duties include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding where applicable. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines. Handle major repairs. Carry out AC and electrical work. LIFT 50 lbs. Use own tools. Work on Cummins and Detroit engines. Prepare work orders using Cetaris. Perform trailer preventive maintenance and repairs. Requirements Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines. Must be able to handle major repairs. Experience with AC and electrical systems. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have own tools. 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred. Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines. Experience using Cetaris for work orders. Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
