Manager, Formulation & Manufacturing Support

Your Role: The Manager, Formulation & Manufacturing Support is a front‑line operations leader responsible for driving execution excellence across formulation and manufacturing support functions within a GMP environment. This role is accountable for building structure, developing supervisors, and ensuring disciplined, right‑first‑time execution of manufacturing support activities, including formulation, equipment readiness, scheduling alignment, and batch record ownership. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors to drive accountability and execution discipline Ensure schedule adherence and maintain operational efficiency Own batch readiness including equipment, materials, documentation, and area setup Ensure full GMP compliance including deviations, CAPAs, and documentation Serve as Manufacturing interface with MSAT, Quality, Supply Chain, and clients Drive continuous improvement using structured problem‑solving (DMAIC, Lean) Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly manage two Manufacturing Supervisors and indirectly support manufacturing support personnel Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline 5+ years GMP manufacturing support experience 2+ years leadership experience Strong experience in GMP compliance, batch records, and deviation management Execution leadership People development Operational discipline Strong communication and problem solving GMP compliance mindset Preferred Qualifications: Biologics manufacturing experience Client‑facing experience Lean / Six Sigma experience Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This role is a full‑time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary. Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance‑based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. The compensation range for this role is $116,800 - $146,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
