Maintenance Technician: Richmond, Illinois

Our customer in Richmond, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Maintenance Technicians to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general building and facility maintenance to ensure equipment and workspace remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on building systems and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
• Complete preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform basic facility repairs including painting, carpentry, and minor construction tasks.
• Assist with general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.
• Read and follow blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals as needed.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience or a combination of education and training.
• Working knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of mathematics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Pay for Maintenance Technician: $22–$24/hour.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 3:30pm – 12:00am.
