Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedural workflows, communicating with empathy and clarity
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of premium diagnostic imaging
• Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions without delay
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough records within our electronic medical record system
• Commit to staying informed on advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is a plus

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
