Visit us on Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting profitable sales growth through proactive customer engagement, lead follow-up, quotation management, and account development. This role partners with outside sales, distribution, engineering, customer service, and product teams to identify customer needs, promote Parker solutions, and convert opportunities into orders. Responsibilities Proactively contact customers, distributors, and prospects to develop sales opportunities. Qualify inbound leads and identify customer needs, applications, timing, and buying criteria. Prepare, follow up, and manage quotations in coordination with pricing, product, engineering, and sales teams. Support account growth through cross-selling, up-selling, and promotion of Parker products and solutions. Maintain sales pipeline, opportunity records, quote status, and customer activity in CRM. Partner with outside sales to execute account plans and territory strategies. Provide product, availability, pricing, and application information within defined guidelines. Monitor quote conversion, lost business, customer trends, and competitive activity. Support campaigns, new product introductions, and distributor/customer engagement initiatives. Escalate technical or commercial issues to the appropriate internal resources. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field preferred. Prior sales, customer service, technical support, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong communication, persuasion, follow-up, and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand technical products and customer applications. Experience with CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools preferred.
