CNC Machine Setup Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Setup Operator to join our dynamic team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our CNC machines, contributing to the production of high-quality components. Responsibilities Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to specifications and production requirements. Load materials and tools into the machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimize downtime. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining processes. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any issues encountered. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Engage with team members and leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is a plus. Proven experience as a CNC Machine Setup Operator or similar role. Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming languages (e.g., G-code). Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
