Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse Setting: 18-bed acute care unit Location: Carthage, Tennessee Start Date: 9/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends Call: None Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Charting System: Meditech Patient Ratio: 1:5 Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience ACLS and BLS certification required ADN or BSN required Experience with IV therapy, Foley catheters, pain management, and EMAR Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric patients Friendly, compassionate team player with a strong commitment to quality patient care Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult, geriatric, and occasional pediatric patients on a Med/Surg unit Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Administer medications, manage IVs, and support pain management plans Perform Foley catheter care and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective treatment plans Care for patients with common diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, AMS, falls, UTI, and abdominal pain Deliver compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining a positive, team-oriented approach Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity in Carthage, Tennessee and advance your Med/Surg RN career today.
