Coverage area includes specific counties; no mileage pay provided. Home Health Registered Nurse is required to manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients. Daily visits include start of care, recertifications, and regular visits. Clinical support is available 24/7 for emergencies or from 8 AM to 5 PM for regular inquiries. Shifts involve five 8-hour shifts, including weekend rotations based on staff availability. Holiday rotation participation is expected. No on-call responsibilities are associated with this position. Scrubs are required, but there is no specific color requirement. Orientation includes two weeks with a preceptor, involving several visits with a work coach. The charting system utilized is Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
