Electrical Engineer II - Test

Overview This position is for an Electrical Engineer II with at least 2 years of professional experience working in hands‑on multidisciplinary teams. The role is 100% onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona. Location 1355 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Directorate. Develop both engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematic creation, and circuit design and analysis. Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects. Act as part of a team or independently to uncover and resolve issues related to development and implementation of test products. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an advanced degree. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Experience with electrical engineering troubleshooting, analysis, and test. Proficiency with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic. Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters. Experience with schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics. Preferred Qualifications Master of Science degree in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred. Technical leadership experience in a multidisciplinary team environment. Experience in analog, digital, RF design and in designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects. Knowledge of integrated development environments, debugging tools, and software troubleshooting. Self‑starter with workload management and deadline met. Teamwork, technical writing, formal presentation, and project management experience. Bid and proposal experience; knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization. Programming language development and implementation experience. Experience with RTX projects, programs, or systems. Root‑cause analysis and UUT configuration skills. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 per year.
