Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location: Pocatello, Idaho Setting: Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 - $1,790 Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Patient Ratios: 1:3 to 1:4 Charting System: Epic Unit Size: 24 beds Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Experience with Epic charting preferred Comfort caring for patients with heart failure, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal failure, respiratory failure, CABG, and TAVR Ability to manage a patient load of 1:3 to 1:4 Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced progressive care nursing environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality bedside care for progressive care patients with complex and changing needs Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and support patients receiving cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration Perform blood product administration and central line care/management Support non-invasive airway management including BIPAP, CPAP, HHF, and IPPB Assist with emergent cardioversion and central line placement as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and rapid response services Deliver safe, compassionate acute care nursing while responding to rapid changes in patient condition Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team Apply now for this exciting PCU Registered Nurse travel job in Pocatello, Idaho and join a healthcare team committed to high-quality patient care.
