Job Summary

As a housekeeping associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your work directly supports the health and well-being of everyone in our nursing home, ensuring compliance with sanitation and infection control standards.


Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of infection
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies and safety regulations

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow established infection control and safety procedures
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly

Resident Interaction:

• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests for housekeeping services
• Respect residents' privacy and personal belongings while performing duties

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment
• Assist with special cleaning projects or emergency cleaning needs as required
