Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Spartanburg, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Security Officer, you will help manage entry and exit points at a construction location, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor and contractor access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, construction work areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and maintain accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
