Payroll Lead

Position: Payroll Lead


Compensation: 50-60/hr

Job Description:

• Process bi-weekly transfer of payroll data from Workday to ADP WorkForce Now and assist with payroll processing through completion.
• Compile, review, validate, and input payroll data, including regular and supplemental earnings, bonuses, taxes, deductions, and time and attendance information.
• Review Workday time and attendance data for completeness and accuracy and identify discrepancies requiring correction prior to payroll processing.
• Set up, process, and maintain employee garnishments, levies, and other court-ordered deductions in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Assist with maintaining accurate federal, state, and local tax information and payroll-related employee records.
• Audit HR-to-payroll data to ensure information transferred between Workday and ADP Workforce Now is complete and accurate.
• Review payroll entries and changes performed by self and peers to ensure accuracy and compliance with established payroll procedures and internal controls.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies involving earnings, deductions, taxes, timekeeping, and employee payroll records.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner and assist with resolving payroll-related questions and issues.
• Collaborates with Human Resources and other departments to ensure employee changes and payroll-related transactions are accurately and timely reflected in the payroll system.
