Ready to make an immediate impact in education? A school district near West Hartford, CT seeks a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a short-term full-time contract. You'll play a pivotal role supporting students across Pre-K through 12th grade, providing guidance and behavioral interventions district-wide. If you have school-based experience—and an active Connecticut BCBA license—this is an excellent chance to contribute your expertise while gaining valuable, varied experience.
What You Bring:
- Active Connecticut BCBA certification
- Experience in educational/school settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral interventions for Pre-K–12th grade students
- Ability to work with diverse disability populations
- Reliable transportation for district-wide assignments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability for a short-term contract assignment
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as BCBA across multiple schools within the district, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Provide behavioral consultation and professional development to staff
- Support students with a wide range of disabilities, adjusting strategies to individual needs
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
- Ensure all interventions comply with ethical standards and district requirements
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, district-wide coverage (approx. 7–7.5 hours per day)
- Immediate start and approximately 9 weeks in duration
- Virtual interview process for convenience
- Work directly with students in dynamic and varied school environments
