Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the cultural backgrounds and personal experiences of each patient, using structured interviews and standardized tools. \n
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions and the unique needs of the patient. \n
- Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, utilizing tools such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care. \n
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to share insights, coordinate care, and enhance the quality of services provided to patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing urgent mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm demeanor under pressure. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment plans, and available community resources, enabling informed decision-making. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, including utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. \n
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary case conferences, contributing insights from your clinical expertise and ongoing professional development in cultural competence. \n
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health treatment and cultural sensitivity, integrating findings into practice. \n
Your work will directly impact various client populations, including those from diverse ethnic and cultural communities. You'll be responsible for formulating culturally aware treatment approaches that resonate with patients’ identities and lived experiences, ultimately fostering their resilience and well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, establishing trust and encouragement in the therapeutic process. \n
- Advanced crisis intervention abilities, allowing you to effectively manage emergency situations. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications. \n

- Experience providing therapy in both individual and group contexts, particularly using culturally responsive methodologies. \n
