Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the cultural backgrounds and personal experiences of each patient, using structured interviews and standardized tools.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions and the unique needs of the patient.

• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, utilizing tools such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to share insights, coordinate care, and enhance the quality of services provided to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing urgent mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm demeanor under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment plans, and available community resources, enabling informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, including utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary case conferences, contributing insights from your clinical expertise and ongoing professional development in cultural competence.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health treatment and cultural sensitivity, integrating findings into practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, establishing trust and encouragement in the therapeutic process.

• Advanced crisis intervention abilities, allowing you to effectively manage emergency situations.

• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
