If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.AbouttheRoleThe Finance Manager serves as a strategic finance partner to business leaders, delivering financial insights that drive performance, support decision-making,andinfluenceenterprise-wideinitiatives.Thishighlyvisiblerolecombinesfinancialplanningandanalysis(FP&A),forecasting,businesspartnering,andstrategicdecisionsupporttohelpachievebusinessobjectives.As an experienced finance professional, you will operate with considerable autonomy, lead complex analyses, developactionablerecommendations,andinfluencestakeholdersacrossfunctions.Youmayprovideguidanceanddirectiontoprojectteamsorotherfinanceprofessionalswithoutformalpeople-managementresponsibility.WhatYou'llDoLeadfinancialplanning,budgeting,forecasting,andlong-rangeplanningactivitiesforassignedbusinessareas.Analyzefinancialperformance,identifybusinesstrends,andprovideinsightsonkeyperformancedrivers.Developandmaintainfinancialmodels,forecasts,dashboards,andexecutivereportingtools.Partnerwithcross-functionalleaderstoevaluatebusinessperformance,assumptions,risks,andopportunities.Prepareandpresentfinancialanalyses,businessreviews,andrecommendationstoseniorleadership.Supportstrategicinitiatives,investments,andbusinessdecisionsthroughdata-drivenfinancialanalysis.Identifyprocessimprovementopportunitiesandhelpdrivegreaterefficiency,accuracy,andbusinessoutcomes.Evaluatefinancialimpactsofbusinessinitiativesandrecommendactionstoimproveperformance.Monitorkeyfinancialmetricsandcommunicaterisks,opportunities,andmitigationstrategies.Influencestakeholdersthroughconcisefinancialstorytellingandactionablerecommendations.BasicRequirementsBachelor'sdegreeinFinance,Accounting,Economics,orarelatedfield,orequivalentexperience.7+yearsofprogressivelyresponsibleexperienceinfinance,financialplanning&analysis(FP&A),accounting,corporatefinance,orarelatedfield.Experienceleadingbudgeting,forecasting,andfinancialplanningprocesses.Experienceperformingfinancialanalysis,varianceanalysis,andfinancialmodeling.AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel.Experiencecreatinganddeliveringpresentationsandrecommendationstobusinessleaders.PreferredSkills&ExperienceMBA,CPA,CMA,orotherrelevantprofessionalcertification.Healthcare,distribution,pharmaceutical,orlargepublic-companyexperience.Experiencewithfinancialplanningsystems,businessintelligencetools,orreportingplatforms(e.g.,PowerBI,Tableau,Hyperion,SAP,Oracle,Anaplan).StrongunderstandingofGAAPandfinancialreportingprinciples.Demonstratedabilitytoinfluencecross-functionalstakeholdersanddrivealignment.Experiencebuildingexecutive-levelpresentationsandbusinesscases.Strongproblem-solving,strategicthinking,andprocessimprovementcapabilities.Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment.Highdegreeofintellectualcuriosity,businessacumen,andattentiontodetail.WorkEnvironment&PhysicalRequirementsGeneralofficeenvironment.Abilitytoperformextensivecomputer-basedworkandanalysis.Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelyinvirtualandin-personbusinesssettings.McKesson complies with all applicable U.S. immigration laws and regulations.
