Overview Mental Health Care Coordinator (Internal title: Clinical Care Coordinator) Location: Vancouver, WA / Portland Metro area (Oak View Site - Near Vancouver Mall). Relocation assistance available. We provide individualized, creative, flexible services with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies. The role involves community-based case management as a "Mental Health Care Coordinator". We provide family-oriented behavioral health care primarily in homes and community for children, youth, and families. Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay Range: $33.06 - $36.78 per hour Additional Pay: First Responder: $1,800.00 per year Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year Training and Supervision: Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and other areas Weekly supervision and daily support with your Clinical Supervisor as needed Benefits: 12 paid holidays + 1 personal holiday per year 3 weeks vacation per year 12 sick days per year Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life Insurance (1 times annual salary) Retirement plans: 403-B Employee Savings Plan and Employer Contribution Pension Responsibilities Meet and engage families with compassion, respect, and enthusiasm. Arrange and provide crisis response and stabilization services, completing safety/crisis plans. Prepare families for next steps in intervention, including team development, planning, and natural supports. Customize helping approaches to fit family uniqueness, culture, and interests. Provide intensive, strength-based therapeutic mental health services to children, youth, and families. Assess for immediate safety and stabilization needs, develop treatment plans, conduct safety and crisis planning. Facilitate child and family team meetings and on-going assessment of treatment plans. Brainstorm and negotiate strengths-based strategies. Consult with clinical supervisor and mental health specialists, incorporating recommendations. Meet documentation standards and produce accurate, strength-based records. Respond to crises promptly and collaboratively. Provide and facilitate therapeutic responses supporting the overall plan. Utilize parent/family expertise in problem solving. Adjust intervention techniques as needed without altering overall plan direction. Facilitate team implementation of the plan from the beginning. Reevaluate, modify, and redesign plan based on new information. Inspire confidence in child, family, and team members. Arrange ongoing formal and informal services and supports. Plan aftercare supports and response post-CCS involvement. Participate in an on-call rotation with other clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators. This position is based at the Family Behavioral Health Oak View office in Vancouver, WA, and requires scheduling flexibility for community-based services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences, or equivalent accredited degree. Culturally competent skills, effective in multicultural settings.
