Position Details Lecturers/Adjuncts - Summer Session Department: Biochemistry & Microbiology Position Status: Part Time Salary: Minimum rate of $2,777 per credit. Compensation below this minimum may be provided in accordance with employment status, collective bargaining agreements, and institutional guidelines. The Lecturer will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, help proctor, grade exams and assignments, develop homework/exam questions, and coordinate any other requirements related to the instruction of the course. Additional duties may include assisting students with laboratory activities. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a master’s degree in microbiology, biochemistry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching experience and effectiveness.
