Medical Director
We are looking for a dedicated Medical Director to ensure the efficient operation of our agency. The Medical Director's responsibilities include establishing and maintaining healthcare coordination, reviewing individual's medical status, executing the agencies policies and systems, and working to enhance relationships with vendors and community health care providers.
The Medical Director will provide leadership to members of the clinical department, and assure that high quality care is delivered and documented in accordance with state and federal regulations, and current professional standards of practice.
This position requires graduation from an accredited school of medicine and completion of residency requirements; 5 years' experience in the practice of medicine; and possession of a current license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
