The core responsibilities of this role include: counting and verifying inventory approximately 98% of the day and/or operating standing MHE including stock pickers, electric pallet jack, reach trucks, and dock stockers approximately 95% of the day. Provide day to day direction and guidance to the team. Assist with training associates and monitoring associate progress.

Position: Day Shift Inventory Control Clerk Shift: 6am – 6pm with rotating days.

Pay: $19.25 per hour with a $2.00 shift premium for weekend days.

Additional incentives: tenure pay increases at 6, 12, and 24 months.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: leadership skills to help establish and promote a positive work culture. Basic understanding of Blue Yonder and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail while maintaining legible and accurate records.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
