Summary: The Principal Project Manager is a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) who leads large-scale, complex projects or substantial segments of enterprise programs. This strategic role combines deep technical and project management expertise to deliver innovative solutions, ensure timely execution, and manage cost, scope, and risk. The Principal Project Manager is accountable for full project lifecycle management and is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, overseeing project planning and execution, and advising executive stakeholders. This role also supports systems analysis, application planning, and long-range IT strategy aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for large or highly complex projects from initiation through delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze and resolve new and complex project challenges involving scheduling, tools, technology selection, financial constraints, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk plans, and performance metrics.
• Guide the development and execution of long- and short-term plans for application selection, systems integration, development, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
• Oversee and direct project teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and performance guidance.
• Lead the definition of project goals, success criteria, and delivery milestones.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving requirements and business priorities.
• Communicate status updates and critical project insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational standards.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including project methodologies, tools, and delivery processes.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree
• At least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Clearance: Public Trust
• Citizenship: US Citizen by birth or naturalization

Pay and Benefits The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $170,000 annually. At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
