Recreation Leader Full-Time Sunday-Wednesday 8:30am-7:00pm Join our dynamic team at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY. As a Recreation Leader, you will play a vital role in our comprehensive team-driven rehabilitation program with a strong community re-entry emphasis. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recreation Leader to work Sunday-Wednesday from 8:30am-7:00pm, 40 hours per week. As a Recreation Leader, you will develop and implement innovative programs for our residents, providing a comprehensive team-driven rehabilitation experience that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities: Facilitate recreation programs as directed Take program attendance and provide data to the Director of Recreation Visit residents one-on-one, assisting with maintaining clean and organized activity areas Perform any other duties as required by the Director of Recreation Document client progress Requirements: 4 years of experience as an Art and Recreation leader in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility (preferred) Relates well to brain-injured individuals Ability to work independently About Us: Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is the largest brain injury treatment program in the world.
