Community Associate, Salt Lake City

Community Associate As a Community Associate, you’ll be the primary point of contact for the Community and act as the “face” of WeWork. You will report to your building each day to support the Community Management team and help WeWork achieve a welcoming, collaborative environment through events and member relationships. Your role will support building operations, promote WeWork‑provided services, and demonstrate core values while growing and maintaining strong community connections. Front Desk Management Cover the front desk during business hours and serve as an on‑site point of contact. Greet members and guests warmly and ensure all visiting guests sign‑in via Welkio tablet. Maintain and update building‑specific forms such as pet, filming, and bike room requests. Keep the front desk clean, organized and notify members of food deliveries and courier pickups. Answer member and guest questions about building policies, way‑finding, and community etiquette. Anticipate and meet member and guest needs using information gathered about members. Events and Membership Engagement Provide feedback on programming and evaluate events for attendance, satisfaction, and impact. Celebrate member successes and milestones through gifts and notes. Distribute event information, including poster creation and posting. Ensure building‑specific operational requirements for each event (e.g., elevators, HVAC) are met. Input event notes into Kube or equivalent systems. Connect members with one another and recommend local dining, catering, and outing options. Active engagement on the WeWork member network to promote events and community initiatives. Maintain and communicate WeWork policies, building updates, and music level controls. Write and send broadcasts related to building updates. Building Operations and Management Receive, process, sort, and organize all mail; issue posts via the regional system. Manage the mailroom, including unidentified mail return and parcel pickup coordination. Investigate and resolve lost packages and mail issues. Track, audit, and organize keys and keycards, and manage inventory requests. Collect keys and keycards upon move‑out and review emergency equipment usage. Provide support for the automated coffee machine for guests and members. About You College graduate (4‑year degree preferred but not required). 1+ years of hospitality experience. Customer service and/or sales experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills. Demonstrated integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self‑awareness, work ethic, and compassion. Passion for entrepreneurial communities and an understanding of WeWork’s mission and values. Proficient in basic computer skills. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $20.50 to $22.50 per hour. Hourly incentive compensation may apply based on role‑specific plans and is described by the recruiter. Benefits for full‑time employees include: 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per calendar year. 16 weeks paid parental leave.
