Must be at least 18 years old Hold a valid driver’s license Have reliable transportation and valid car insurance The WIC Nutritionist/Registered Nurse (CPA) is a full‑time position working at both the Boone and Hendricks County offices. To be considered for the position you must be one of the following : Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, or have a B.A. or B.S. in nutrition or dietetics. Preferred : one year previous work experience with WIC and/or nutritional counseling, bilingual (Spanish) or other languages, IBCLC The CPA performs the following duties: Perform WIC certifications performing anthropometric and biochemical measurements nutritional assessments developing and documenting customized care plans provide referrals, scheduling appointments, and/or issuing appropriate food packages Plans, implements, and evaluates the nutrition education component of Boone and Hendricks County WIC Provides nutrition education to high‑risk clients and promotes breastfeeding as the preferred method of infant feeding. Supported Living Direct Support Professional (DSP) The Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Supported Living program works directly with the people we support in the community or in their homes. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, depending on your availability and the needs of the people supported. Days, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts a possibility. The DSP will assist the people we serve with activities, community engagement, and developing their life skills. The Arc is also looking to fill a DSP position for weekend on‑call . This position will be on‑call every other weekend to take calls from DSPs to provide support, contact other DSPs if a shift needs filled, or work weekend shifts if no other DSPs are available. The Manufacturing Coach works in the Mainstreet Marketing Enterprises program assisting adults with disabilities in a warehouse setting. The Manufacturing Coach is a full‑time position working Monday‑Friday 8am‑4pm. The Manufacturing Coach must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, and be able to operate a forklift, other equipment, and drive a box truck. Duties include the following: Support Manufacturing Associates to develop their manufacturing skills in order to maximize their productivity and best support each person to succeed in community integrated employment. Provide training and retraining, as necessary, on production processes adapted to each individual Manufacturing Associate’s strengths. Provide training and retraining, as necessary, on safe use of automated equipment for production. Support Manufacturing Associates by serving as a material handler, keeping each associate properly supplied throughout their production shift. Closely monitor Manufacturing Associates throughout their production shift, providing ongoing encouragement and positive motivation, as well as reinforcing efficient production practices in order to maximize each associate’s productivity each shift. Supplement production at all workstations, as necessary, to ensure that daily production goals are met. Complete a thorough Daily Work Assessment (DWA) for each Manufacturing Associate to document units completed, observed strengths, unacceptable workplace behaviors, and observed support needs. These DWAs will be the foundation used to draft a Monthly Improvement Plan (MIP) for each Manufacturing Associate. Draft a Monthly Improvement Plan (MIP) for each assigned Manufacturing Associate using their Daily Work Assessments (DWAs). The MIP should suggest potential accommodations, process adaptations, or adaptive technologies which could help boost a particular Manufacturing Associate’s productivity. These plans need to be submitted to the Director by the end of the business day on the first business day of each month, and will be reviewed as a team at a Monthly Improvement Meeting. Communicate and collaborate closely with the Director to identify Manufacturing Associates who are failing to meet their job requirements, so that appropriate action may be taken by the Director. If the Director determines that a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) is necessary, the Manufacturing Coach will cooperate in implementing a CAP for that Manufacturing Associate. Implement the work schedule, as documented by the Director, to ensure that shifts are fully staffed. If the Manufacturing Coach wishes to change the schedule, approval from the Director must be obtained first. Cross‑train associates as necessary. Assist in the maintenance of clean and safe work areas. Maintain training and certifications in all areas of responsibility and ensures that all department staff maintain training, including needed information to best support Manufacturing Associates. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Arc of Greater Boone County
