Central Plains Cement Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Plant Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment in a production environment. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, millwright experience, and a self-starting attitude. Key Responsibilities:

Central Plains Cement Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Plant Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment in a production environment. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, millwright experience, and a self-starting attitude. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair industrial processing and production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions using voltmeters and testing tools
- Disassemble machinery and replace defective parts
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Reassemble and test machinery to confirm successful repairs
- Read blueprints and technical manuals for accurate installation and repairs
- Weld and fabricate parts when necessary
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used
- Support operators with equipment function training when needed
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright
- Journeyman-level experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, and industrial tools
