Health Unit Coordinator

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Services team on a Part‑Time basis. The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for clerical coordination of the unit. Examples of duties include preparing and maintaining files of medical records, answering phones and triaging phone calls to professional staff, managing supplies and assisting staff in getting their needs met to do their jobs. Position Requirements High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required) Completion of post‑High School Vocational/Specialized training (Preferred) Previous clerical experience is preferred, especially in a healthcare setting (Preferred) Requires non‑violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar basis (Special) Basic computer skills; access email, reference internal websites, use electronic health records, and use online learning tools (Computer Competency) Microsoft Office Suite – basic skills such as opening a document, changing font, saving a document, writing a letter (Office Skills) Work Shift Part‑Time, 0.7 FTE 28 hours per week Variable days between Monday and Friday Shift hours: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am and 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm Benefits Working with Stoughton Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: 403(b) retirement plan Medical Insurance (multiple health plan options) Dental and Vision insurance Disability and life insurance Flexible spending account Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off (PTO at hire) Employee assistance programsTuition assistance Free on‑campus parking Work Environment This position is an in‑person role at our Stoughton Hospital location.
