Senior Cost Manager

Responsibilities Performing quantities take off and preparing Bills of Quantities by studying drawings and specification sheets. Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and produce cost plans. Valuating construction works and production of interim and final payment recommendations. Valuing of changes and variations. Make sure that all costs and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order. Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customers’ requirements deliverables in accordance with the business procedures. Advising on and implementing procurement strategies, risk management and cost-saving measures. Producing and presenting reports to the clients. Leading, mentoring, guiding, and contributing to the training of Cost Management team. Assembling contract documentation. Advising on and implementing procurement strategies, risk management and cost-saving measures. Producing and presenting reports to the clients. Leading, mentoring, guiding, and contributing to the training of Cost Management team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. 5-7 years post graduate demonstrable experience in different aspects of quantity surveying and construction methods and materials. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and logical skills Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Ability to think creatively and identify cost saving opportunities. Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques. Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
