Job Description

As a Lead Restoration Technician, you will lead restoration crews on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality service and safety. You will be at the forefront of handling water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation services, playing a key role in restoring properties to their original state.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation services.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Conduct demolition and cleanup as needed.
• Document job progress and communicate with customers and management.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Train and mentor junior restoration technicians.
• Respond to emergency restoration calls as part of the on-call rotation.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of restoration technician experience.
• Experience in construction, restoration, and demolition.
• Skill in carpentry and the use of hand tools.
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• IICRC Certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation of 2 - 4 technicians.

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
