HiFyve is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in the Manufacturing Industry in Charlotte, NC ! Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: M-F, 8am to 5pm Pay: $25 to $28 Job Purpose- under general direction of the Marketing and Inside Sales manager, the Logistics Coordinator will ensure that logistics run efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Print inspection report Obtain freight quotes and request approval for quotes Verify that the service department has received customer request Communicate with customers to let them know their saw is ready for shipping Work with the customer to determine pick up date Input added machine parts into SAGE 100 Track machine shipping Send bills of lading Provide efficient supply chain execution by interacting with vendors, customers, and logistics and transportation providers Ensure appropriate safety procedures for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous material are followed Perform duties deemed necessary to support the function of the Logistics and Marketing Department Communicate with service department on upcoming pickups COMPETENCIES Analytical thinking Good management and organizational skills Attention to detail Works well with deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team player Record keeping Basic computer and emailing Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes #J-18808-Ljbffr HiFyve
