Security Officer Weekend Patrol

Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare-related environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to support authorized entry and orderly movement throughout the location. Complete routine reports, note security-related concerns, and relay pertinent information during shift handoff to help support continuity of operations. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
