What You'll Do as an Industrial Maintenance Technician:

• Troubleshoot & repair commercial HVAC, high-pressure steam, electrical, plumbing, and campus utility systems.
• Operate & maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, generators, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including inspections, testing, cleaning, lubrication, and filter replacement.
• Install & repair electrical components, lighting, circuits, and control systems.
• Monitor system performance, water treatment levels, gauges, and operational equipment data.
• Travel between nearby campuses using a campus vehicle to support facility operations.
• Assist with snow removal, equipment operation, and other facility support duties as needed.

Our Ideal Industrial Maintenance Technician:

• Experienced Technician: Minimum of five years of HVAC experience with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and utility plant systems preferred; able to interpret operational data, troubleshoot issues, and repair mechanical and electrical systems efficiently.
• Safety & Detail Focused: Committed to following safety procedures, maintaining accurate records, and supporting proper water treatment and system operations.
• Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform hands-on work, including climbing, kneeling, bending, and working in confined spaces or outdoor conditions.
• Technically Proficient: Familiarity with industrial HVAC control systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Team-Oriented Communicator: Works well with others, communicates clearly, and contributes positively to a collaborative campus environment.

• Pay range: $52,000 - $79,000 based on experience and qualifications
