Experienced Mental Health Therapist (Onsite/Hybrid)

We are currently on a path to becoming a 100% employee-owned practice.CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST POSITION:Understanding Minds Psychological Services is seeking a small number of experienced clinical therapists to grow our team. This position is ideal for providers who desire a collaborative and supportive environment in which they can focus on providing excellent clinical care. Integrated administrative and leadership teams handle all operational, scheduling, billing, and compliance responsibilities. Opportunities to specialize, offer clinical supervision, and conduct non-clinical work can be designed collaboratively for those interested, but are not required.Role and responsibilities include:Individual therapy with children, adolescents, and/or adults, couples, or family therapy, depending on providers clinical interestsComprehensive intake and follow-up assessmentsTimely and accurate documentation of sessionsStable, reliable, and consistent care to clients in accordance with ethical and professional principlesParticipation at weekly Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays 12-1pm)Functioning as part of a supportive multidisciplinary teamOpportunities to participate in and/or develop additional clinical programming if desiredTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:Full licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) in the state of Missouri 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience Desire to maintain a consistent full-time caseload (27+ hours billed weekly)Desire to contribute to a collaborative and innovative approach to mental healthcareInterest in continued learning and long-term growth as part of a dynamic team Cultural competence, social responsibility, and commitment to providing ethical careExcellent time management, clinical boundaries, communication, and rapport building skillsAbility to work a limited number of evening and weekend hours to meet client demandSpecial consideration may be given to candidates with who have interest or experience in the following areas: Child/adolescent therapy, couples and family therapy, ERP treatment for OCD, clinical supervisionUnderstanding Minds is proud to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including Paid Time Off, as well as perks including malpractice coverage and consultation, funds for training, and prepaid CEU subscription. Full-time administrative coverage also means that both clients and therapists receive prompt, thoughtful responses to their needs.
