Overview Schedule: Nights 7pm-7:30am Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Care Partner provides patient and administrative support to Nursing staff as necessary. Duque : A 52-bed medical/surgical unit that cares for a broad range of patients including NICCU graduates, respiratory diagnoses such as bronchiolitis, and short stay general surgery, ENT and orthopedic patients. There is also a section designated for the epilepsy monitoring unit, patients with neurological disorders and patients with behavioral health issues and eating disorders. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Able to write, speak fluently and understand English. 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred. Pediatric experience preferred. Nursing Student Applicants: Completion of pediatric rotation preferred. Preferrably not graduating within the next two years. Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School graduate or GED required. Current American Heart Association BLS required. Pay Scale Information $43,680.00-$48,880.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
