At a Glance Location: Ipswich, MA Pay: $25.00 – $36.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday Hours: 40–50 hours/week | Overtime Available Machines: CNC Mills & Lathes (Haas, Mazak, Fanuc) Experience Required: 2+ years CNC setup (job shop) Employer: D&D Manufacturing LLC --- About the Role D&D Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join our precision machining team in Ipswich, Massachusetts . This is a hands-on CNC machining role focused on setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes in a high-mix, job shop environment. If you enjoy working independently, solving machining challenges, and producing high-quality parts from print to finish, this role offers long-term stability, modern equipment, and consistent overtime opportunities. --- Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines using Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc controls Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, hand sketches, and verbal instructions Machine precision components from steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminum, plastics, and exotic alloys Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and CMMs Maintain quality, efficiency, and repeatability in a fast-paced job shop environment --- Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC milling experience in a job shop environment Strong understanding of CNC setup for both mills and lathes Ability to read and apply blueprints and GD&T Working knowledge of Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc CNC controls Experience using common inspection and measurement equipment Ability to work independently with limited supervision --- Why Join D&D Manufacturing?
