As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols as a driving post, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, support access and visitor screening as needed, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial scene control and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Monitor access points and visitor entry processes, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and direct visitors according to site procedures. Complete patrol and incident documentation, report hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicate key information during shift handoff to support site operations. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR Certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
