Job Description MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a high-performing Anesthesia Care Team model in Lancaster, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced CRNAs and board-certified Anesthesiologists within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team, delivering high-quality care across a diverse case mix at two well-supported campuses in Lancaster and Chester. In this model, CRNAs play a vital role in delivering hands‑on anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures, with the autonomy to manage cases while benefiting from physician partnership and resources. Qualifications Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery. Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Master’s degree or higher with concentration in Nurse Anesthesia for those hired after March 1, 2019. Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits. Recognized as an APRN to be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an American Health Association (AHA) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers. Position Highlights Anesthesia Care Team/Medical Supervision Model for Lancaster. CRNA Only Model for Chester. Cases: Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Kidney Transplants, OB with a separate dedicated night team (optional). 8, 10, & 12‑hour shifts with separate dedicated night and weekend call staff.
