Support Technician

Duration: 1 Year +
Pay Rate: $25.15-$32.55/hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday. 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
***Must be flexible to work additional shifts, weekends, or provide vacation coverage as needed.

Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical support for computer and telecommunications systems across multiple customer locations. This role is responsible for hardware and software support, inventory management, troubleshooting, user training, and maintaining technology infrastructure. Travel between sites using a personal vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer and telecommunications systems.
• Perform hardware installations, equipment exchanges, and inventory control.
• Install software, program updates, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Train end users on supported hardware and software.
• Document support activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support technology infrastructure across customer, Small Package, Freight, and SCS locations.
• Prioritize daily workload while working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Outlook
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Education/Certification:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or Bachelors preferred
• A+ certification preferred

Travel

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between customer sites
• Mileage reimbursement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
• Experience with desktop hardware, software deployments, and telecommunications systems
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
