Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Cardiovascular - Portland, OR

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular sales in the Portland, OR territory. The role involves promoting Amgen's cardiovascular products to medical professionals, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to drive appropriate product utilization and territory growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and communicate benefits to drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, branded messaging, and educational programs
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activities and territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with management
• Share best practices with colleagues and serve as a sales leader demonstrating passion for patient impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years
• Preferred: 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
• Preferred: Sales experience in cardiology, oncology, nephrology, or other specified therapeutic areas
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey clinical product knowledge effectively
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage complex customer accounts

Compensation: $89,816 to $121,602 base
