Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and educators as a Behavior Specialist or School Psychologist. This dynamic school setting near Eden Prairie offers three immediate positions—including both full-year and leave-coverage roles. With a focus on positive behavior intervention and collaborative practices, you'll be instrumental in building supportive learning environments across specialized education centers.
Openings include:
- Two full-year Behavior Specialist positions (2.0 FTE)
- Short-term leave coverage (1.0 FTE each) with estimated durations ranging through early autumn
Desired qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related area
- Moderate experience working in a school-associated behavioral or psychological role
- Valid Minnesota special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (PELSB-issued)
- Alternatively, national Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or in-progress certification
- Nonviolent crisis intervention training
- Consideration for Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder teachers with behavior specialist experience, as well as BCBA or behavioral analyst professionals
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments
- Communicate assessment findings to parents, educators, and community stakeholders
- Assist staff in developing Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Design and refine data collection processes to measure the effectiveness of interventions
- Recommend plan adjustments based on ongoing data review to improve student outcomes
