Job Summary Cullum & Brown is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Customer Center equipment sales and service activity for Northern Colorado, a defined geographic area. Responsibilities include quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share, and maintain customer loyalty while achieving organizational goals. The position blends supporting a major distributor and selling direct to customers. Responsibilities Generate Revenue – Responsible for selling equipment, service contracts, and service offerings to direct end users and partners within a defined customer base. Develop existing customers and secure new, competitive accounts. Provide and design compressed air solutions for industrial needs. Keep current on product knowledge and industry standards. Develop People Capabilities – Provide sales skills and product/service training for dealer sales personnel and customer center staff. Partner with services team to anticipate customer needs. Manage Cash – Ensure all orders are error‑free with correct customer documentation. Resolve customer disputes and manage costs associated with selling efforts including travel and entertainment expenditures. Ensure adherence to safety rules – Vehicle safety and customer site safety in the field and in the customer center. Earn Customer Loyalty – Collaborate across functions, partner with service team to troubleshoot issues or offer unique solutions. Maintain CRM – Record face‑to‑face interactions, assets, agreements, contacts, and opportunities in the order management system. Provide feedback on market conditions and drive/push the sales pipeline with daily reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. 4+ years of experience in an industrial sales business setting. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, free of major or frequent traffic violations. Drivers cannot have DUI in the past 5 years, hit‑and‑run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple minor infractions or collisions in the past 3 years. Preference Knowledge of Salesforce. Core Competencies Excellent relationship‑building and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Establishes and builds strong relationships with customers, key institutions, and team members. Honest, self‑motivated, and team oriented. Capable of working independently and within a team environment. Mechanical and electrical expertise. Ability to assess customer needs, analyze and interpret data, perform basic equipment performance calculations, and recommend technical solutions. Tech savvy; Salesforce knowledge preferred. Proven business and sales acumen; ability to prospect accounts, navigate within a customer organization, value‑sell, and win competitive accounts. Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Regional travel to customer sites required within the assigned geographic territory. Pay Range The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $70,000–$120,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors including a candidate’s skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. The hired applicant will be eligible for discretionary/non‑discretionary annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
