Investment Banking Associate - Generalist

Our Client is a leading middle‑market investment banking firm providing comprehensive M&A, capital markets, and financial advisory services to clients across a wide range of industries. They are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join their New York City office. As a generalist Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of investment banking transactions and client engagements across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of M&A, capital raising, and other financial advisory transactions. Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling to support transaction processes. Prepare pitch books, presentations, offering memoranda, and other marketing materials. Assist in the coordination of due diligence processes and transaction execution. Work closely with senior bankers to deliver strategic insights and high-quality client service. Conduct industry and company research to support business development and live transactions. Mentor Analysts and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus. Approximately 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or related financial services. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
