Program Manager L3 (Athletics)

Job Summary The Program Manager works with many levels of Georgia Tech Development and Athletic Association (GTAA) leadership and staff to manage the Alexander-Tharpe Fund (A-T Fund) efforts based on industry best practices; acts as the sole point of contact for facilitation and communication of program goals, deliverables, and schedules, and must be an excellent communicator; various levels of documentation will be produced at each stage of the program and the program manager is often the person who creates these with input from others. This position may supervise: Assigned Staff. Responsibilities Facilitate creation: A-T Fund definitions, work breakdowns, rough order estimates, program plans, communication plans, program schedules and specifications. Research solutions: A-T Fund management issues using appropriate resources; lead short-term tactical programs of diverse types. Promote objectives: Follow the A-T Fund objectives, priorities, goals through best practices and industry-standard methodologies. Interact with stakeholders: A-T Fund donors, Georgia Tech staff, and others to determine needs and develop plans. Facilitate meetings: Communicate program timelines, milestones, updates in team or programmatic meetings. Strategic participation: May provide information for the strategic planning process at the unit or department level. Create artifacts: Program agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, reports and documentation. Training & guidance: Provide training, guidance, direction to other staff on program management tools. Other duties: Perform other job-related duties assigned. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Two or more years of job-related experience in non-profit fundraising, sports or college athletics. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Education: Master's Degree. Salary Salary Range: $63,303 - $67,000 (commensurate with education and experience). Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of fundraising processes and protocols; organization, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and as a team member; multitasking abilities; use of office-related computer applications required.
