Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Friday with one day off per week, day may vary) | On-Site | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the OR setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout assigned cases
• Participate in required on-call coverage, including post-shift call (1700–0700) at least once per week and weekend call (24-hour, 0700–0700) at least once per month
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
• Float to sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license for the state of California (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience required (candidates with 3+ years may be considered with screening)
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
• Demonstrated proficiency in open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as outlined in the schedule requirements
• Commitment to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting with 320+ staffed beds
• Familiarity with Meditech charting system
• Experience as a travel nurse in a CVOR specialty setting
