Property Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their team and play an important role in supporting their real estate portfolio. This role requires experience utilizing Yardi. Property Accountant Responsibilities & Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budgeted and actual figures Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and industry standards Coordinate with property managers to address financial queries and issues Oversee tenant billing and collections, including rent, utilities, and other charges Monitor and manage property cash flows and funding requirements Assist in the internal and external audit processes Develop and implement accounting procedures and controls to improve efficiency Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and real estate industry trends Property Accountant Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles Excellent organizational and time management skills Previous experience in property accounting or real estate finance #J-18808-Ljbffr Leeds Professional Resources
