Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
\n
• Providing ongoing consultation in creating effective pre-crisis and crisis management strategies, including risk assessments and positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to establish a solid foundation for interventions.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all records are up to date.
\n
• Collaboratively working with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute effective behavioral guidelines that promote positive outcomes.
\n
• Engaging actively in all accreditation and licensing processes, maintaining professional standards of practice.
\n
• Building strong partnerships with state agencies, community partners, and other relevant service systems to enhance service delivery.
\n
• Promoting the organization’s goals and mission through community outreach and communication efforts.
\n
• Continuing your professional development through attending conferences, trainings, and participating in collaborative meetings.
\n
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that contribute to the overall goals of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals with emotional health issues, substance use disorders, and various developmental disabilities. Your approach will be individualized, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic techniques to suit the unique needs of each patient. You will be integral in helping clients develop coping mechanisms and strategies to foster long-term recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
\n
• An Independent LMHC License to practice in the state of Kansas or willingness to obtain licensure in Kansas, with the organization covering the associated fees for out-of-state candidates.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working in community health settings or clinics.
\n
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for mental health and substance use disorders.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional benefits that include:
