Water Treatment Engineer

Water Treatment Engineer
Actively seeking a water treatment engineer. This engineer will conduct assessments of water treatment facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop performance metrics for wastewater and greywater treatment processes.
- Create, manage, and execute water treatment projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Chemical Trials - Interpret data from trails to inform station of process improvements and O&M savings.
- RO Performance Improvements - Develop method to monitor RO performance, make and implement recommendations to improve performance.
- Review and revise Capital project plan for frequency of recurring projects such as filter media replacements, pump overhauls and collector well redevelopment.
- Provide operational support for water treatment facilities, including troubleshooting and optimization.
- Address gaps in water treatment processes.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in technical field
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in water treatment
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including chemical, physical, and biological methods.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards related to water treatment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
