Material Resource Planning Controller

Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC)

As an MRPC, you'll play a supportive role through advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production obstacles to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Key Accountabilities:

• To ensure the maintenance of component planning data (e.g. Master (lead time) and dynamic data (transactional)) that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chain resulting in a committed plan.
• To be the primary interface and lead operational relationships with suppliers to lead and co-ordinate all improvement activity associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time. As part of the Business reviews understand Load and Capacity constraints within a supplier that may impact performance and delivery.
• To lead business reviews with their suppliers ensuring that both the suppliers and requirements are being met considering the impact of Quality, total cost and Delivery on the supply chain team. To ensure these reviews are supported by other appropriate functions as required.
• To manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan. Manage the impact and escalate issues as required.
• To ensure paperwork and information transfer in relation to all part movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements, and ensure resolution of unverified invoice queries relating to schedule changes and goods receipt and liaise with buyer to ensure resolution of any price blocked invoices.

Basic:

• An Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
• A Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment or;
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment
• In order to be considered for this opportunity must be U.S. Citizen/Resident, Asylee, Refugee or have permanent/indefinite work authorization. No visa sponsorship for this position

Preferred:

• SAP experience
• Experience with APICS
• Experience with project management
