Position: Operations & Facilities Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL | Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/yr

What You'll Do:

• Facilities & Site Operations: Keep the grounds safe and thriving through proactive maintenance, vendor oversight, and practical repairs.
• Project Management: Lead site improvement projects; construction or trades experience is a huge plus!
• Guest & Event Support: Manage Admissions scheduling and help bring major signature events to life.

Responsibilities

Facilities & Maintenance Operations

• Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and vendor/contractor activities across the grounds.
• Perform hands-on operational duties as needed, including small equipment operation/maintenance, furniture assembly, supply transport, and minor facility repairs.
• Maintain and monitor all grounds and site equipment to ensure safe and continuous operation.
• Keep operational storage areas organized and manage site material supplies.

Project Management

• Serve as the primary liaison for contractors, vendors, and construction teams working on site improvements.
• Coordinate project timelines, ensure work follows guidelines, and track project deliverables through completion.

Admissions & Site Coverage

• Create and manage weekly schedules for the Admissions Team.
• Step in to support admissions operations during high-traffic periods, staff absences, or coverage gaps.

Event Logistics & Support

• Provide operational set-up, tear-down, and logistics support for organization events (such as Glowing Gardens, community programs, and fundraising galas).
• Assist with supply transport and logistics oversight during event setups.
